Not exaclty sure what brand yet, Strange or Moser, but I've been leaning towards Strange. We'll see, all I know is I'm SICK of this crap, what the hell was GM thinking putting a small a$$ 7.5in rear end in a car that can put down 340 RWHP like mine?? IDIOTS!!!!!!!
Thanks for listening, if anyone has any hookups for getting a 12 bolt cheaper than retail PLEASE let me know! Cya!
While I totally agree with your assessment of the strength, or lack there-of, of the 10 bolt, your sig shows 4.10 gears...seems the manuf. / installer / (driver) of these holds some culpability.
We have a guy in the CICC who makes over 600Rwhp on N2O, and w/ an A4, he's still on the stock 10 bolt! Even w/ 3.73's!!
I really hope the 5th gen gets a driveline that's worthy of the engine!
nice to hear from you again - sorry it has to be when you have trouble.
please call again -
The A4 cars have the rear already preloaded due to the torque converter and auto tranny, so there's so where near as much impact to the rear end like a M6 car has. Unless the A4 car has a trans break (VERY similar to how a 6 speed launches) the rear won't break for a long time, really upsets us 6 speed folks
If GM doesn't fix the rear end problem with the new Camaro that's really rediculous on their part. I guess they want these cars to be cheap and break often
Hawkeye - Thanks for the reply, I wish I could be here more often, it's good to hear from you too. Maybe I will try to post more here, preferrably good news
