at PIR. I am going out with the '69 (come on out, Dan A) and OBSSD and NateSS to do a Team Continental driving school day. Cy is working on getting a laptop w/GPS and mounting it in his car along with a video camera. I am starting to work on the fuel system for the '69 to fix the lean problem at high rpm/high load (who knew that a 3/8 fuel line wasn't big enough for over 500 hp?? And nathan is working on getting his dizziness taken care of from spinning around in turn 4 on the last track day, and probably hoping it doesn't happen again. CANT WAIT!!!!!!!! LOL...he is never gonna live that one down. It's just too bad my instructor made me follow so far behind or I would have had a really good shot of that on film.
Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?

Well Steve from what I heard you were only a straight line 1/4 mile guy. It sounds like the Bragg-Smith trip has got you hooked? LOL Posted by Steve da Wrench (Member # 1301) on 08 February, 2002 09:41 AM:

Don't know who you heard that from!! But it's not true. Yes I do the 1/4 mile once in a great while, but my DREAM would be to be a road racer! And yes, Bragg-Smith helped, and so did other driving schools I have taken before and after that. Gotta love those handling machines!!

hey now. what are ya tryin to say. that i can't keep off the accelerator? maybe this time i'll get an instructor that won't have me enter the turn going 100MPH rather than 80MPH the time before. but you know, i was laughing the whole time during the spin, plus it was a learning experience. HEEL TOE next time.
