Well, it was a B---h, but the New Afterthoughts Clear Chrystal Lenses and the New Side Markers with Red Bulbs are in. The fronts were easy once you got the headlight assembly out of the way. Be careful getting the plastic tabs back in place, light adjustments can't be made if you don't. Make sure you have the turn signal bulb in the right position also, check it before you put the headlight back in, will save you some time, I know from experience.
Tney look great, Thanks to Afterthoughtsauto.com

Hmm....

You installed the front clear parking lenses by removing the headlights? I did mine from underneath the car. It was kind of a pain in the arse to remove all the plastic covers then reach in a pull out the lens assemblies, but I did this to avoid having to worry about correctly positioning the headlights after reinstalling them. Just wondering if I was the only one that did it this way, maybe the headlights would've been waaaaay easier.

I have thought the same. I have been thinking of doing the clear corners but don't want to pull the headlights for fear of not being able to re-adjust them correctly. And to go in from underneath seems like an even bigger pain.

what i had done is have steve take off my entire front fascia and that way you have very easy access to the lenses. just unscrew the amber ones and screw in the clear ones.

If you have nice skinny, small arms, then going up through the access holes can be done, but removing the headlights is a snap. If you mark the adjusting screws for the headlights and put them back in the same place, no problem at all. Besides, my local chevy dealer and I have a relationship that when I do something dump, they always bail me out. Adjusting the lights is very easy beside. If you are in garage, mark where the beams are before you start, then adjust them right back to the same place.
The whole job will take you no more than an hour and of course save you some scrach's all over your hands.

The side marker light bulbs that I received were in fact amber. Someone mentioned that they had ordered a new set from Jegs for $4.99, Auto Zone has them for $2.99, so save two bucks.

Now, thats what I call a major time consuming task, removing the headlight, one bolt is sure a lot easier, just follow my directions, you will not have a problem.
