How did they instruct you to heel-toe in Bragg-Smith? I didn't think my feet were that big, but I don't see how I could use anything but the side of my foot. The pedal spacing and lack of room doesn't seem to allow it. How do you do this?

you actually use the right edge of your right foot on the gas. Your ankle becomes the pivot point. Easier to do than describe.

The ball of your foot (the big part just behind the big toe!) pushes on the brake pedal, and as you are on the brakes, you roll your foot/ankle over to the right and tap the throttle with the right side of your shoe. It can't be done with the stock Camaro pedals(unless maybe you have HUGE feet). It is hard to get it smooth and even so the car doesn't lurch at first, but you will get used to it. I highly recommend installing a "blip" plate such as the one bragg-smith puts on their cars, or buying a set of aftermarket pedals. (oh, and by the way, you don't actually heel/toe as it sound, your heel does nothing, and should not even be on the floor).
