Got my newest Super Chevy today and they are asking that car enthusiast take action against Federal Legislation Section 803 of S.1766.
Which in brief is a proposed Fed mandate that cars over 15 years are to be crushed and not available for resale or parts. In order for states to receive Federal funds they would have to pass this legislation.
They are urging we send letters to our Senators voicing our opposition to this law. They suggest that a letter be sent on company letterhead to our Senators opposing Section 803 of S.1766 They suggest this site as a guide: http://www.enjoythedrive.com/content/?id=8250
Those of you that belong to local, state or National F-body clubs might want to send something under your particular letterhead with a list of members that oppose passage.

A flier came out in the latest Summit racing catalog as well. Already mailed both of mine on monday. Hope everybody else jumps on this bandwagon for a good cause, to help save all the classic cars.
