Oh yeah, after the Gloss Boss explained to me very carefully over the phone how to apply the various products, how not to use too much, etc., I did as she said and got good results. Not to leave any good work undone however, I then e-mailed her on my experience and, of course, included many horribly wrong things that I had done while applying the products. She said her husband had to point out the smiley face at the end of the e-mail before she recovered from the heart attack she was about to have reading my story. Hey, a guy's got to have fun!
Congrats and wait until you get a few more coats on it, it gets even better.
Greg
The mirror covers are Colgan. I ordered them from www.autoaccessorieszone.com and they were $29.95 for the set. They are a real bear to get on the first time. It is probably like a car bra though, a lot easier to get on in the heat of summer than during the winter.

You must really be into this RACE GLAZE stuff because I got your private e-mail about it too. Anyway, I bought 3 of the Zaino products from The Gloss Boss at
http://www.indycamaro.com/glossboss.htm
I got the Z-7 Show Car Wash, Z-1 Polish Lok, and Z-2 Show Car Polish so my total purchase was just under $30.00 (plus shipping) and I got a free applicator as a bonus.
Since it is winter time here in Indiana, I was not in any kind of a rush to do the 'shine thing' on my new SS. The biggest difference I noticed between Zaino and the Meguiars I used to use on my '95 Impala SS was that Zaino seemed to be a lot easier to wipe off. I used to resort to an orbital buffer to polish the Impala but didn't need it with the Camaro - of course the Camaro has a lot less surface area to clean and polish than the Impala did.
Anyway, thanks for your feedback. Maybe we can compare cars at Bowling Green later this year at the F-Body Gathering - we just HAVE to hit that 1000 mark. Scott S. is supposed to quit smoking if that happens and we'd like to keep him around for a while.

Hey SSteve, nice pic's. Just received my Zaino stuff. Can't wait to get started. Question...There was some talk that the Zaino left a residue on the sides of the decals that was difficult to remove.
Not at all. I think the main point is to use very little Z1 and Z2 product while you apply it. This was the main point Roz at The Gloss Boss made with me when I asked her about using Zaino products. I was concerned about build up around and under the edges of the clear 35th Anniversary side badge since I had that problem with the Impala SS side scripts when I was using Maguires products. Maybe I was using too much of that also. Anyway, I have not had any such problems with Zaino.

This can happen...it used to happen to me when I first started using Zaino. It happens when you apply the polish over the emblems and the raised emblems kind of scrape the applicator pad as you swipe it across which leaves polish around the emblem, which then dries. If you don't get it off and then you continue to use the Zaino, it will build up, obviously. The same effect will likely happen with any polish or wax. The main thing is to make sure you wipe carefully around the emblems and if you don't get it all, you can always go back with some Z6 and get it off, no matter how long it's been there.
