J.R. set it up so that only moderators can delete messages. I'm not sure why. If you want something deleted your best bet is to e-mail the moderators your request.

It just doesn't make any sence ( to me ) that the 'author' of a post cannot delete her/his own message.

We are able to delete posts on hoodscoop.com. I find it an inconvenience not being able to delete my own post.

Yeah, I have done that myself in the past. If we are able to delete the 'body' of a post, then why shouldn't we be able to delete the entire message?

Perhaps you can email J.R. and ask him to enable the 'post originator delete feature' on the board?

The Contact Us link at the bottom of the board is listed as: support@chirpthird.com

I'd like to see the signature feature defaulted to off while he's making changes!
