I just got one of my fenders and hood painted on my car. I called the GM dealer to order the SS badge on the fender he said I couldn't order one for my 96 SS, said i had to call SLP and get it from them. Then I told him to look it up for a 98 SS, he said he was able to order one for 98-02 SS's.
Is there a difference in SS badges?

There was a paint defect on my hood and i had the bottoms of both fenders painted because they were starting to look a little grungy from there being no mudflaps on there. Also got a 98+ SS spoiler painted and put on.
