I was considering a STB. I hear they are easy to install. Do you have to do any drilling to install them? Any recommendations between SLP, BMR, and Hotchkis? Your help is always appreciated.

A very easy installation. 4 nuts to remove, drop it on, put the 4 nuts back on and torque them. Most consider it to be a good mod ... especially for the 'verts.
I have a BMR ... I don't think there's much difference between the brands.

Very simple, I have the BMR as well, just make sure the car is sitting on level ground.

Thanks guys. I assume there is no drilling required then. I'm not too keen on putting holes in my new car. A lot of people seem to have the BMR STB. There is about $100 difference between the BMR and Hotchkis. Thanks again.

BMR here as well, it will "stiffen" the front end on the corners. A simple mod, easy install and worth the $$.

BMR seems to be a common STB to buy because it is the inexpensive one of the bunch..

Ours is a Hotchkis, but BMR is a great choice, too.

Everyone else pretty much nailed it. For me, it came down to style since I'd heard good things about all three. I wanted to keep it simple so the bulky Hotchkis was out. With a black car, I didn't want a black STB so SLP was out. That left BMR with their choices of 7 colors.

Thanks for the help. The pictures were a big help. It looks easy enough. The only difference between the pics and my car are three cables on the passenger side that may be in the way. The only technical problem is that my torque wrench measures in in/lbs. If I remember my college physics from 30 years ago, then 32 ft/lbs would be 384 in/lbs, right?
