If they got an 'experienced' recovery engineer (tow truck driver) they could have gotten that back without any more damage than already done.
Nice picture. Looks like he may have pulled into or onto the shoulder and the brakes locked up, possibly due to the weight, and slide right on over. New seat covers for sure.
