Geez Mark you're absolutely killin us! OK, so now that is the nicest job I've seen to date on the FRCs, plus the intake, plus the valve covers, damn it man!!!
BTW, IMHO the hotchkiss brace distracts from the beautiful work, so I think you should consider a simpler BMR or something.
Great work!

Thanks!
No way on the STB though. The Hotchkis stays out of the way of the logos on the FRCs. C'mon, we all know the red bowtie is the most important part.

Pillar gauges and possibly the GMMG chambered exhaust. It never ends with these damned things!!

Very Nice .... but since nit-picking seems to be the order of the day ... you've got BMR (adjustable) torque arm listed twice in your sig Posted by mhayman (Member # 146) on :

Wow. Mark are those corvette FRC's that you have modified? Where did you locate the emblems for them? I want some just like that. Where do I start?

man! that looks too good . i have always wanted a silver intake manifold. since the manifold is plastic, how did you paint it? did you powder coat it? if not, what paint did you use? i was hoping to be one of the first to have a silver intake, but you beat me to it. i guess great minds think alike Posted by Mark IXZD 150 (Member # 235) on :
Sig is fixed. thanks.
The intake was painted at a body shop with the same paint that would go on the body. (basecoat/clearcoat)
The FRCs are GM but I made the metal strips and the decals for them myself.
Thanks for the compliments everyone. It's nice to be the recipient of 'engine envy'.

hey mark, but wont the paint peel or blister? i thought that you might need high temp paint, doesn't it get pretty hot under there?
btw, so are you going to zaino that intake now?

Have you ever touched a black car on a hot sunny day? It doesn't get any hotter than that where the intake is sitting. Besides, it's baked on right in the spray booth. I have no worries about automotive paint on it at all!

Did you have to fill the "CORVETTE" letters before applying those decals on your FRC's?
Any plans on making those decals available?

Yes, very nice! I must agree with DaddySS though. You should go with a different STB.
