well, Steve, Cy, Teri and i just got back from our day at the track. i had a blast, and learned a lot more this time around than from my first experience last fall.
when you hit that turn just right and come off of it like a bat out of hell, it feels so good.
(and this time i kept my car facing the right direction)

Sounds great. Glad you had a good time. Any pictures? How was lunch from the pit cook?

lunch was great. you'll learn to never turn down teri's cooking, because if you do, you'll miss out. plus the school provided sandwiches.
i did not take any pics, however, Cy did bring two camcorders, one for his car and one for steves'.
on the video, you can see steve leave the track to avoid skidding out of control. he told me he took the lesser of two evils.
maybe Cy can post some video clips.

Hmm...that's an interesting theory maybe I should have tried that.

I think Craig's video adequately documents that students aren't the only ones guilty of leaving the track.

.

Hey, its true! They told us in our class and drivers meeting that since the ground is so wet and soft now, if you think you may go off, go off straight, then collect the car, rather than go off sideways, stick and roll over!!! Bummer though, missed that one on camera, as it kept shutting off during my runs about 10 minutes into them. Cy has the tapes, and may be able to post some clips.

Had lots of fun, though. Oh, and Cy got a gift for his car, you will have to ask him!

Performance driving school is a blast.

Say Steve, aren't you supposed to keep both hands on the steering wheel, instead of one holding the camera? (just kidding )
