Someone over there on eBay has decided to go into the caliper decals business and is selling these decals and using my images that you've all seen to advertise them. Clearly they are not the same. Just wanted to give you all a 'heads up' on this.
BAD
You know where you can get the originals.
GOOD

Thanks. The only reason I'm involved is because someone is using images of my products and apparently selling something else. That's just plain dishonest.

Hmm, is that like selling unlicensed products?

So clever!
You know that issue is being taken care of. It wasn't a big deal for how long? Everything has it's time. How many other products or ideas happened the same way? If I had known licensing was so easy I would have done it earlier.
Isn't it about time for SLP to take the fiery hot stake out of their azzes already? Trust me, you're playing the victim for no reason over there. Why? Because you lost some centercap or dashplate orders? Lighten up!! It's not the end of the world.
I just don't want people to be deceived by the posers.

Jeff,
Its not like SLP or GM was EVER going to make caliper decals..
Maybe you guys should go after the guy making the really nice SLP decal I have on the back of my car.. Im sure the free advertising is killin ya

Here we go again-we're not worried about him selling caliper decals. The issue goes back to Mark selling unauthorized products on our website. And now he's worried about someone ripping him off!!! Its no different than fake Rolex's and Gucci purses.

With all due respect JeffY - and you know I am a big fan of SLP, promote the quality and testing that goes into your products, etc. - it is different. First, neither SLP nor Chevrolet make the decals so Mark is not counterfitting those products and taking business away. Second, Mark is not putting Chevy's logo or yours on his product. Finally, SLP have made their point and I think we all respect your position, let's not carry the issue any further.
