Want to switch my wife's new Jeep to synthetic oil. How many miles should I put on the factory oil before changing? Any ideas?

It has 200 Kilometers (125 miles).

I would not think it would hurt anything. Maybe call the dealer and talk to someone in service and see if there any service bulletins that say not to use synthetic engine oil.

No harm in switching to synthetic whenever you wish. Most oil folks I talk to say leave the factory fill oil in for about 1000 miles, then change. You'll be removing break-in wear metals, remnants of casting materials, etc., etc. That concept hasn't changed much over many years I've been in the oil biz.
