Last Sat I helped a friend and former employee put up a pool in his yard. I worked with him on that pool with other friends all day Sat. I just got a call from his young daughter to tell me that dad had a massive heart attack on Tuesday. They rushed him to the hospital but there was nothing they could do. He was probably in his early fifties. A heavy, strong man that Kayaked and biked a lot. You just never know! I feel terrible for his wife, children and 2 brand new golden retriever pups. A few of us are going to get together and finish the pool for them I think.

Enjoy the day, hug someone you love. I am getting old and feeling mortal.

I think I will take my car to hockey tonight. I don't care that it is supposed to rain!

Chin is up!! You know me!! I just feel a little older and bit saddened today.

I need an f-body fix to perk me back up. Took the tees off and went for a ride this morning. Will go again later!

I just got word that a friend of mine, and ex-employer in Montreal just had a stroke, albeit a mild one. as a wise lady said to me when I first came to San Diego...Tomorrow Is Not Promised!
It reminds me to be more thoughtful of my family and friends and others I care about, close by and far away.
Suz and I are thinking of you and your loss of a friend.
Take good care.

Thanks all. The service was this morning. Very sad listening to his 3 young daughters remembering what made him special

A bunch of his friends are all getting together and we will finish that pool for his family.

Thanks again, you friends are always here in tough times and in good times.
