send us? I want to try out an idea I have, but only if it's something someone is going to throw away.
Thanks much....

You may want to try a local Chevy dealer body shop. They may have a damaged one you could have. Posted by HTWLSS (Member # 117) on :

That's my last resort. I'd rather get one that's intact and going to be discarded by a fellow SSOA or message board member.

A month earlier Teri and you could of had mine. It had been sitting here for over a year, so I finally sold it to someone who had been in a accident and needed a new one.
If you know the part number, you'll probably be able to get it pretty cheap here:
hey Teri, now that i think about it i may have my old grille from my Z28 lying around in the basement somewhere. i will try to remember to look for it. dont know however if i left it with the Z when i sold it.

Thanks for checking...I didn't even think that you might still have it.

I think I still have the old one from when I put the SS grille on. It's damaged, I don't remember exactly how much. I'll get up to the barn and get a pic of it for ya if you think you might want it.

o.k. Thanks...if the damage isn't visible from the front, it might work out.

I'll show you, when it's done, if it turns out well.

if i do still have my old one, it will have the license plate bracket on it, if that is ok. you may be able to remove it without too much damage done to it. dont know if the holes will be noticable or not.

Uh oh. NOW I am getting worried. I haven't even heard what she has in mind, but I am sure it involves work on my part! (guys, you know how it goes!!!) Hopefully whatever it is will turn out well, but she USUALLY has good ideas, so we will see!!!! Posted by DROPTAWP (Member # 865) on :

Darn...I forgot about license plate bracket holes....Hmmmm, maybe that will give Steve some epoxy practice before the next step.

It is. About a two inch tear. Sorry

Thanks...I'm sure one will turn up eventually. It might be tough finding a used one w/out license plate bracket holes though.
