Any tips? Any products I should "avoid"?
Would the Zaino car wash suffice?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

THANKS!

We use Zaino car wash and one of those dishwashing mop thingies to get in the tight spots. Zaino it per the usual instructions when you polish the rest of the car.

Zaino car wash and clay bar on cool, as in temperature, wheels works well. Then several coats of Z5 or Z2 helps keep them clean.

My wife has the white wheels on her car and drives about four hundres plus miles a week, so on this issue, I am an expert. Give the wheels a good washing with Simple Green, then a through cleaning using RACE GLAZE'S Leveling Compound and the then a final coat of Polish/Sealer. The next time you give the car a bath, the brake dust and road stuff just was right off:

I had a 30th Z-28 and had a lot of trouble removing accumulated brake dust from the "corners" of the white wheels... (of course, that was before I "discovered" Zaino here...) I used a small cloth polishing disc in my Dremel tool (got it at the hardware store), with some mild polishing compound, and it worked great. I'm sure once you get it clean, the protecting layers of Zaino (or whatever) will make it easier next time.
