Hi,

I have pics of my SS, but can't figure out how to attach them to this post! Have tried several "normal" type things.

So ... what's the secret way to attach a jpg or bmp ... huh???

Damned frustraing if you ask me ...

Greg, no problem,I'm no computer person but I will try to tell you. I will start with the basics and if you already know some of this forgive me.
To post a picture you must have the picture on a website. There are a few free ones around like the one I use.

After the picture is posted you have to copy the URL. to do this open the picture on the website that you wish to post.
next, right mouse click on the picture and bring up the properties.Find the address (URL) and copy the complete address. You can do this by using the left mouse button and highlight the complete address. then right mouse button and copy.
Once that is done come back to this site to post a reply.
type [IMG]then paste the URLaddress,followed by [/IMG]. That should do it, if you have trouble let us know, or e-mail me the picture and I will post it for you. here is an example.

Sorry, I joined the free site you suggested and have an MSN log in and still can't find any choice that allows me to post a picture to the group. It SAYS I have 3 Mb available, but I can't get to a menu choice or mouse click that allows me to save a picture ... VERY frustrating. When I finally get it straight, it will seem dumb not to see it right away but, at this point, I'm almost ready to strangle a software engineer somewhere ... [Roll Eyes]

O.K. no problem we will try to figure this one out. First with MSN when you sign in on the left side of the page you should see were it say "create a group" hit that and follow the insrtuctions. Call the group what ever you want, we just used the car identification. After you create a group it should show you the group and a button of the left that says pictures. hit that and there should be instruction on how to upload pictures. try that and let me know how it goes. Take your time,
