Go with the Colgan bra. I have a 35th LE and it is perfect. You wont regret it. I will bring it to Bear Mtn next week. Just trust me. Its feels and fits perfect!

i got the colgan bra, and had troubles with it. the workmanship is great, but it did not fit right. Obssd had trouble with it too. i would go with the GM bra. or go to www.carbras.com they have a picture of their bra on an SS, so you know it will fit.

...Gino, ...I make sure I get to Bear Mtn. next week, ...I'd like to see one on a car.
...Nate, ... the one at Carbras.com, ...it does look like it fits well on the SS
...Teri, ... I didn't look yet, but is there a pic of the GM bra through their website, ...and how much was the GM?
Thanks everyone...
Kevin

Or - go Braless! [Wink]

Seriously, this discussion has been around before, some swear by bras, others would never put one on. There is a claim they can do more harm than good. If dirt (rain water) gets under the fabirc while you drive it is pressed (rubbed) against the paint it will leave scratches. I've seen clouded paint under bras when they're left on to long and remain wet underneath, for extended periods.

Your choice.

True, if you leave a bra on your car for extended periods of time, you will experience paint fade and scratches. however, they are good for road trips, so long as you take it off when you get to where you are going.

I'm not sure how much we paid for the Camaro bra from GM...I'm hoping Steve has the invoice at the shop and can post that for you. You might see if GM Parts Direct shows a price.

A bra does end up making wear marks. The ones we aquired on the IndY2K trip a couple of summers ago are still faintly there. This time, we'll be using a strip of ClearBra or 3M Paint Protection Film as discussed earlier to minimize the rub at the trailing edge of the bra.
