Just got back after a full day of driving. We hit some really heavy rain in West Virginia but other than that got out of it unscathed.
What a great weekend had by all. It was great to see everybody again and meet a few new faces too.
I'll have a ton of pics loaded by tomorrow night.

Hawkeye, that's what I said to Art last year and look was he does...he lengthens the margin of victory by almost a whole second! I hope he brings his race tires next year so he gets bumped up into modified. (Hint, hint, Possum...)

I just got in. It was great meeting everyone. I will be there again next year. I already made reservations at the Best Western CI for next year. I had a blast.

As Robbie said we made it home uneventfully. Caught a good bit of rain right outside of New Orleans, but otherwise fine. Looks like we will be getting a lot of rain in the next few days with the hurricane, but luckily the car is safe and sound in the garage. It was wonderful to meet so many nice people with great taste! We really had a great time and cannot wait to see everyone next year! Who knows, hopefully by that time we will be bringing my SS!!! Yup...I did at least bring home the second place plaque, so I was happy. The competition was a lot tougher this year, and there were a total of 41 cars racing.
Hey, have a great time at Skyline...I guess we'll have to wait until next year to catch up (unless I can temp you into Corvette Skyline on the 26th of August.)
