I saw a price of $359 for an OEM changer..My radio is exactly the same one as the SS has. Thinking of either stuffing it in center console or anywhere I can. Anyone seen this sold cheaper? Ragss..I know you mentioned a place one time...I think it would be neat to be able to trade cartridges back and forth.. I'm good like that!

I'd suggest you pull the radios and carefully check the plugs on the back. When I changed from cassette to CD it took Radios and More 2 tries to get it right ...but they did and paid for all the shipping ... and at a quick glance they looked the same.

GM Parts Direct , ...I think that is where I saw them. You might want to check ebay too. ...keep in mind what poSSum said, ...looks can be deceiving. Check the GM part numbers on the two radios... Posted by 35TH ED/ed (Member # 1709) on :
Try:
T.E. Hunt Auto Radio Inc. 24607 Schoenerr Warren Mich. 48089 1-810-757-6630
This is where I got mine for the SS. They were cheeper then GM parts with my wifes discount. Might want to try them .

It should work.... I looked at doing this to my 01 S10 Xtreme that I had. Sold it to get the SS though..... so I never tried it.
