This is probably a stupid question....but.

Where does everyone get thier avatar's from, and how do you add it?

If you want to use your own, you are going to have to upload it to a web storage space, your own website, etc. After that, find the address for the pic (right clcik pic or link of pic and go to properties, it's in there) You then come back here and go to "My Profile" and insert the link into where the avatar options are. Hope this helps!

Oh, and keep the avatar small (100x100 pixels)
