Well,

Since I was laid off 2 weeks ago, I have been pretty depressed, but my friends have convinced me to go to Mardi Gras. Any suggestions on things to do there! [Wink]

Thanks a million!

Best Regards,
Bello SS

Find a Mardi Gras supply place online and buy lots of beads for cheap...they charge a premium in the French Quarter. Or you could always try to earn some from the ladies (the exchange goes both ways). If you like parades, get the times for a few and go stand close...they'll throw plenty of beads and other goodies (just be prepared for large crowds).

Wear comfortable shoes 'cuz you'll be doing lots of walking. But don't wear nice shoes...they'll be nasty after just one or two nights (the streets are far from clean).

If you plan on partying, just head to the French Quarter at night and wander around...you'll find plenty to keep you entertained. Bring cash...the drinks aren't cheap - Hurricanes are great...lotsa rum in one of those.

Have fun, but play it safe!

OMG....I can't believe that Cy just gave out "how to party at Mardi Gras" advice. Do you have some skeletons in your closet? [Cool]

BTW, did you "reciprocate" for beads? [Eek!] [Big Grin]
