Yes, got it. I was focusing on the latest batch of member packets. Now that those are out, the posters will be next. I have Monday off (Presidents' Day), so I'll take advantage of the day to update the SSOA database, add new members and pack the posters that I have postage for, first.
Unfortunately, some people sent me a check, so I need to go cash them and buy stamps. I don't know when I'll have time to do that since the hours I work are the same as the P.O. I'll get those out when I have the time to stand in line to buy stamps. Hang in there...I'll get to it eventually.
If anyone else wants an SS poster, you must send $5.75 in U.S. POSTAGE STAMPS and specify the year you want ('97, '98, '99, '00, '01, or '02). (I'll return postage if it's less than that.)

No problem, just wondering if you got the stamps I sent you. Do you work for the USPS? No hurry.... Thanks.

Posters have been sent for: 35TH ED/ed MM T. Tuscan M. Schmidt Sizzle USA-1 RagSS Hawkeye
Thanks for your patience. I sent two of the double sided posters, where applicable, so you can display both sides in one poster frame. (The '97 poster is the only one that is single-sided.)
Just realied that I picked up the 2 cars in the '97 poster while I was in Fla last week, only difference is that they are hard tops (1/32 scale)die casts .

My poster came a while ago. The Boss (i.e. my gf) is waiting to hear on the fabric. Posts: 1296 | From: Saginaw, MI | Registered: May 2000

I'm trying to locate my 40% off coupon.....I know it's floating around the house somewhere. If nothing else, I'll wait until the next Joanne Fabrics mailer (they come out all the time and always have a 40% off coupon). If the fabric isn't at one store, there's half a dozen others w/in a 30 min drive. I just called my Mom. She thinks her coupon is in her car. She's going to check it out and see if it was good 'til the end of Feb or March. If it's still good, she'll drop it off to Steve at the shop for me. If it's expired, a new mailer is due any day. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks Terri for sending the poster. Was I short on postage or did you have enough? I don't want you to pay out of your pocket. Unfortunately the mail man ran over the box..... looks like heck. The posters aren't in the best shape... Posts: 1045 | From: Seattle, WA | Registered: Nov 2001

Sorry the Post Office munched your posters. I thought the reason the P.O. gives us Priority Mail tubes and charge more to mail them is because they handle them with care. When we come to Boise, I'll bring you new posters. If anyone else received damaged boxes, please let me know.
Because I was able to get 24" tubes, the cost to mail the posters was less than originally quoted (they were $3.85 each). I gave back "change" in the form of postage stamps in all of the cartons. (Except for Hawkeye...I'll settle w/him in B.G. I figured he had no use for US postage stamps.) Everyone: Check the envelope in your poster tube for your change.

I'm not a big fan of the mail.... they always seem to mess my stuff up. I think I'll blame Newman! Good thing I didn't recycle the box yet. In my excitment I pulled the posters out and didn't look in the box... I found the extra stamps. Thanks again!
