New member here and I'm looking for input on SSOA decal usage. Per a suggestion from Teri's response to my post @ SLP, I have done a search thru this forum for suggestions/pictures of locations where SSOA members have placed their decals. Unfortunately, I can not get the pics to show from these older threads (I think the threads are too old and the pics are not retrievable now). I would like see some pics, however, some posts discuss 'static' displays. Does this mean that the decals have been attached to something else, not the window/car itself? My understanding of a static display is like a wall hanging or poster-type display. Also, some of the respondants in the prior threads mentioned 'the center of the rear hatch'. I assume that to be on the inside of the window, centered towards the bottom. I have tint already: anyone else done this after tint? I'd appreciate some clarification on that location, ideally a recent picture. Sorry to be a pain, but I'm really particular about this due to my general dislike for 'stickers' on our SS.

To keep the "sticker effect" down, the SSOA chose to create clear stickers. They don't jump out at you, but helps make your car noticeable to other SSOA members at an event. They've been known to add about 5 h.p., too!
You should have 2 SSOA stickers (has adhesive on the back for placing on helmets, toolboxes, etc) and 2 static cling decals (they are placed on a window from the inside and have no adhesive).
One of our static cling decals is on the lower corner of our windshield. The other one is on the front window of our garage.
We placed one of the stickers next to our airlid under the hood. The other one is on our memory album of documentation for our SS.
If I had pics I'd post them, but haven't run across any.
Other members have placed their stickers and or decals on other places on the car...I'm sure they'll post some pics.

I thought about the rear window, but it wouldn't have shown through the tint. Driver's side lower corner of the windshield for one the static decals and I put one of the other decals here...

Mine is where Robbie's is. Only I don't have a state sticker there. I have SSOA and East Coast Amaro Club static details there. I don't much care for stickers either, but these are clean and unobtrusive and mean somehitng to me. Besides, how can I pass up the 5HP?

Thanx! I 'stuck' one under the hood like SuperSport and DanA_F99_1977. Looks great there, although my NBM paint does hide the black lettering a tad, but otherwise looks nice there.
Question on the static ones: What is the best method to apply and elimnate the bubbles? I dare not rub too much since I did that to the 'sticker' one under the hood and rubbed a little of the outside ring off (oops).

I got my packet in the mail today and I think I'll be placing one of my static decals in the lower left windshield area. Nice packet and Thank you very much. Only bummer is I converted my antenna to power so won't be able to fly the colors at a show. I'll figure something out.

Hi there! #31, Black Beauty has her stickers on the inside...one in the lower left corner of the windshield, and one in the lower right corner (looking from the driver's seat) of the passenger side window. I have pretty heavy tint on the sides and rear glass but the stickers add to the great appearance.

Had the same question when I got mine. A little soapy water on the surface you want to stick it to, or on the application side of either the static or the regular decal, will do the trick. You can slide it around to the exact location you want it, then can easily rub the bubbles out. Once it dries, you are set.

We also have a power antenna, so I display the flag on the dash or on the console at a show.

We have static parking permits at work where they can be removed and placed elsewhere on the windshield, I was wondering if the SSOA static were the same principal. Or ore the SSOA static ones perminant?

The SSOA static decal can be moved. It does NOT have any adhesive.
The SSOA sticker has adhesive and will be difficult to relocate.

Thought that I would pass this along:....To get the decale to stick when it won't put it in hot/warm water and let it sit for about 1/2 minute and it should stick like new again.
This is what they told us at work due to the fact that we transfer them to different vehicles so we can park without getting a $20 ticket.
CAUTION..............somebody said that they rubbed off part of the logo so I wanted to mention this as I have not tryed this to the static label(have not put mine on yet )
