Sal just called me back - a gentleman indeed.

Nothing wrong with the Zaino turning a light orange. It has a 3 year shelf life, but that can be affected by temperature extremes. Best to keep indoors at room temperature.

Different lots may have different colors based on the additive lot that Zaino receives from the chemical supplier. As long as the product stays in suspension after shaking, and has no "lumps" or "clumps" in it, it is fine to use.
