Get the VIN. We'll make a note of it for the 35th Registry.

Thanks Teri, my thoughts also. There has to be a way to find the owner phone #. I'll call him and get the VIN.

2002Z4CSS, Do you have the listing or a phone # for this car?

Thanks,
Glenn

Hello everyone.

I am the person that has the 35th SS in this post. I am sure a lot of people have questions, so here you go:

1. The car was wrecked in Missouri.
2. The occupant(s) were drinking when the accident occured.
3. I do not think anyone lost their life in this accident; there is no blood at all in the car. However, the seatbelts are not cut like they usually are when the occupant(s) are wearing them.
4. I will get the VIN number tomorrow when I am at the shop and post it here so you people can make the appropriate changes in the registry.

The car has 6,100 miles. The engine and trans look brand new as if they never saw rain or a dusty road. It appears that this car was well taken care of up to the day of its death.

Unfortunately, it seems I only bring bad news here. In the past year, I reported a Hendrick SS's death. In the last 6 months, I have bought the following vehicles wrecked:

1. 2000 Firehawk
2. 1998 Camaro SS M6 T top
3. 2000 Camaro SS M6 hardtop
4. 2000 Camaro SS A4 T top
5. 2002 Camaro SS 35th LE A4 T top (supposedly 1 of 839 auto cars??)

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I wish this car was a rebuilder as I would be putting it back together as we speak.

Ryan

Ryan, we're in the same line of business! How many f-bodies have you revived? Between my friend and I, we're 5 of Scott's children we've saved!

I'll just never understand some people ...

A great reminder to be really mindful of the other idiots out in the world, folks ... hopeful the poor fool(s) didn't take anyone else out with them.

Ryan,
Thanks for the information. Look forward to hearing from you again. If you plan on selling some of the removable items (smooth trophy mat, rear deck mat if optioned, floor mats etc..) please LMK.

Regards,
Glenn

Sorry, but I won't be able to get the VIN until tomorrow. I was helping a friend do some cleaning and tune up on his 2000 SS today.

Glenn:

There was no mat in the back of the car (at least it isn't there now) and I think the floor mats are just regular mats. On the passenger door jamb it says CME and I think it was portfolio which is also not in the car. I'll look closer tomorrow as I have to go snap some pics of the seats close up anyway.

I was not really needing them ,but for the right price I would not mind a second set. [Smile]

Hey Ryan,

If you do decide to sell the wheels, I could really use 2: I got ran into a curb on the passenger side in my LE trying to avoid collision with an erant woman in a camry....luckily, the wheels and tires were the only parts that made contact.

Hi Julie! Nice to see you are back. Havent heard from you in a long time! Hope your car came out of your mishap ok. Good luck on finding some wheels too! [Big Grin]

Yeah, I got a little off track for a bit, but now that the BG plans are beginning to evolve, it's a no-brainer that I have to jump back on more often.

Her wheels aren't in horrible shape, but they still have pretty big imperfections and we all know how much those eat away at us....
