My car is a t-top, but if it were a conertible with a white top, it might look something like this:

Oh man, I feel for you. We are just getting rid of the snow. I was watching the news this morning and saw some area got 3 to 5 ft. I really and truly feel bad for you all!

Man, that stinks...snow will be on the ground there for months!! I hear one area reported 82" of snow!!!! That's just under 7 FEET! I feel for you. Kinda puts our Blizzard to Shame, lol. Ohhhh the memories!!! BRING SPRING!!!

We needed the moisture pretty badly out here, so while it was a pain to dig out (took about 2 hours to dig the "tunnel" out of my driveway for SS), it was really good to see the white stuff.
The Blizzaks will get a workout tomorrow.
Of course, when all of this melts, there will be tons of flooding everywhere, which isn't much better.

Wow! Glad we did not get that snowfall. Looks to be the heavy wet snow too.

Wow!
Don't send any this way.

Wish you could send a few inches of the white stuff our way. We didnt get ANY this year down on the valley floor, and not much in the mountains either. I feel for your car. My question is, why is the SS in the snow, and the sport ute in the garage???? Posted by 35TH ED/ed (Member # 1709) on :
As long as you keep that white stuff out there I'm happy. Been enjoying the SS for the past several days............ Posted by 99PewterSS (Member # 564) on :

I totally agree -- it's all about the tires. I love driving my SS in the white stuff. It's worth it to see the really strange looks from people. It's like they can't believe I'm actually able to drive in the snow.
My wife gives me grief that the Camaro is the "winter" car. Heh heh ...

Hahaha. You said it! I get more looks at my car in the winter than in the Summer!! LMAO

I drive my 98 TA all winter and my wife drives her 94 Vette all winter, and they are both good cars in the snow with the proper tires. We put dedicated snow tires on all four corners.
However, there is one thing you do have to watch out for. Both of these cars are bottom breathers (radiator cooling air enters from the bottom) and if you go blasting through deep snow or snow drifts too quickly you can pack the radiator air intake FULL of snow. The car then proceeds to overheat!!!!!
Guess how we both know this one. It is no fun getting down on your hands and kness by the side of a highway in the middle of a blizzard to clean out the intake.
Other than that, they are both a lot of fun in the winter.

PS: Did Gino have a hand in the design???

Definitely Gino's fault. When My dad had the '63 split window vette, he drove that all the time! Yes, tires helped out a lot. Never thought to check the radiator, althouh the most I drove in was about 6 inches.
