Thanks for the reminder, Nate. I'm filling out my registration right now!

Why don't we all cruise out there together? You guys can stop by my place on the way out, or we could meet for breakfast somewhere.......

Thanks Nate! I just put it on my calender. Not sure if we will make it (trying to make progress on the 68). Maybe I will bring the 69 out.

BTW, any of you Portland area people who want to attend the Baxters Historic races in July at PIR, contact me for more info and to sign up. Its only $35.00 for the entire 3 day weekend for a car and two people.

Here's the URL for the Portland Historic Races.

http://www.portlandhistorics.com/

The $35 that Steve is talking about gets you and a passenger into the races for three days, you get to park your car in the car club corral where several hundred cars are on display, full pit access, and best of all....a parade lap around PIR on Saturday and Sunday.

To pay for regular admission for 2 people, and parking in the boonies for three days, the cost would be $150, so the $35 deal offered to car clubs is super. We've done it for the past 6 years and it's always a fun time.

Hope to see all you Portland/Vancouver people out there.....just contact Steve and get $$ to him ASAP if you want to participate...we'd like to get a big group out there this year.

It's a negatory for me on the Suburban show.

But Steve, go ahead and mark me down for the Historic Races again this year...July 12&13, right?

That's great! for those that are going, it would be nice to caravan and meet for breakfast. i would rather meet for breakfast somewhere in gresham, because a lot of people are going to be at the denny's accross the street from the dealer. i believe the show starts at 9am. so we could meet for breakfast around 7:30 or so. let me know what you all think.

IF we are able to go, b-fast in Gresham sounds good. Post the info here in this thread and if we're able to make it, we'll SSee ya there!

Sounds good Nate, but maybe we should meet a little earlier like 7am. How about Dea's In&Out on Burnside, great food there. [Big Grin]

Are you goung rain ro shine? [Cool] [Roll Eyes]

I'm doing my "no rain" dance.

With Steve being at home sick all week, he's even further behind in making progress on his '68.

If it's not raining, I might be there, but won't make any promises for Steve. If he has a chance to work on the car, he will. That's his priority right now. There will be bugs to work out before we drive it across country to Bowling Green in September.

If you have an address for or directions to the eating place, that would be great.

I most likely won't enter the show...I will just spectate.

Hoping for NO rain...........

The address at Dea's is 755 NE Burnside, Gresham. Right next door to Gresham (ahum) Dogde. Take I-84 to the 207th Ave exit, turn right, follow road to Glisan then turn left. Go to 223rd Ave. turn right, stay on 223rd until you get Burnside (2 or 3 lights), turn left. Now heading East on Burnside go about a mile and it's on the left.
