G'morning!
We had the thunder, lightning and heavy rain last night, but nothing to compare to the tornados down south.

Very late check in for me. Busy at work, left work and to the ball fields.
Took daughter to get her learner's permit today. Boy, I am getting old. Hard to believe that I have a kid who is able to drive. And no she WILL NOT drive the SS.

Good evening. Well after atwo great days at Watking Glen (even the rain was fun to drive in), I got some bad news and had to cu the day a little short. My aunt passed away so I came home tonight instead of Wednesday. I hope the rest of tha gang makes it home OK tomorrow. I would highly suggest that anyone that enjoys road racing, got to Watkins Glen if you get a chance! The most awesome track. First time I got 6K RPMS in 4TH gear in the Z06. WOW!!
Anyway, have a great Wednesday, not sure if I'll get here tomorrow. I'll try to post pictures tonight if I am not too tired.
Here they are! BTW- did the fonts change on the board is my PC messed up?

Sorry to hear of your loss Dan.
I'm showing my age, but.......... Karen & I went to Watkins Glen in the early '70's with my '64 Chevelle Malibu 2 door hardtop. I visited the track just as they were prepping it for repaving. I asked one of the workmen if I could do a couple of laps, and much to my surprise they let me. There's nothing like cornering at speed on bias ply tires. It felt like I was doing 100, but it was more like 35 or 40 (max). An experience that I'll always remember. I took the SS out on a local road course a couple of years ago and it brought back those Watkins Glen memories.

Sorry about your aunt Dan
Glad you had a great time. Looks like it was quite the event.

Thanks, It was a sad day indeed. Highest highs for me being on teh track and then prery low today, but such is life. We move on in faith!
Watkins Glen was an experience I will never forget and being at the funeral today was just another reminder to me to enjoy the days we have. So, I do not plan on growing up soon and can't wait for my next track day!!
