I think I have finally succeeded in getting her to stop driving the SS EVERY day! We bought it new in 1999, and she has been driving it DAILY since then. I would have loved to be able to just drive it on nice days or weekends, but alas that just wasnt possible. Now, 3 1/2 years and 32K miles later, she has finally decided to let it sit some. Now the EXPENSIVE part: I had to buy a new truck to get her out! Last Friday we signed the papers on a new 2003 Chevrolet Silverado ext cab 4x4 SB 2500HD. SHE wanted light pewter metallic paint, (I wanted black) and bucket seats. This truck has more bells and whistles than I think I will ever figure out!

Yep! You are right, Im just waiting on the Zaino order to arrive! Zaino doesnt last too long around here with two teenage sons with vehicles plus the ones my wife and I drive! My insurance lady couldnt believe we were buying another Chevy! She said " yuo know the do make OTHER brands dont you??" I told her I had heard that nasty rumor, but didnt much believe it!

I prefer the Charcoal myself . You will ger used to the bells and all though and you'll never go back

Cool pics! We looked at the charcoal too, but it was too late to order an 03 and we couldnt find a charcoal or a black one optioned out exactly like we wanted so we ended up with the light pewter. It wont shine like black or the dark charcoal, but it wont show dirt like they do either! We know how black is, the SS is black!

ordered mine the 1st of May and the wife picked it up yesterday, Less than 3 weeks from order to delivery. I know about the dark colors I had a Midnight Blue truck that I got rid of in 8 months. I like the Pewter but it seams to be the color every one has.
