Seriously? I have dual dual SLP exhaust and it has brownish stains on it..and can the darkness around the welds be brightened without too much trouble?

I use Autosol Chrome polish. Bikers use it on
the chrome pipes.

I use Autosol. Works really well. If the stains are stubborn, 3M makes a Chrome and Metal polish that works even better than Autosol. I have used the 3M product on my polished aluminum whells with great results.

I use MAAS metal polish. Seems to do a good job taking some of the yellow tint out of the stainless pipes. :)Mary and Ralph actually told me about it at last years SLP Day in Ohio. Thanks! I have been using it ever since! [Cool]

I just did my exhaust and used nothing. used steel wool, a scouring pad of some sort and very fine sand paper. But I'm sure the polish will help.

Besides Autosol, I've used a fine grade Scotch-brite pad for the real tough stains.

Yep, stuff works well, I found it at Home Depot of all places. Comes in a small tube, the box is silver and blue. We use it on just about anything we want to look like chrome.

I have found the "blue magic" paste to work well under the hood...

Thanks all! I liked the pics too-Gave me something to strive for...I just popped into Walmart and bought two things to try out...!st was Never-dull metal polish wadding---Found that absolutely useless!!!! I also bought a small jar of Mother's mag polish...(we use that on the diamond plate on the firetrucks for years--so I knew how to use it)....It actually did well..I'm quite happy..I used a scotchbrite pad with it on it in some stubborn spots!...Can't wait for Carlisle!!! Please someone pray for sun!
