A good friend and a great guy from the East Coast Camaro Club recently had a lung transplant and I hoped that all that do, would pause a moment and say a prayer for him.

I will not post his name as I am not sure he would want me to.

Ken Howe may be able to say more.

Regardless, please pray for him.

A prayer has been said.....get well soon

An Irish Prayer
May God give you...
For every storm, a rainbow,
For every tear, a smile,
For every care, a promise,
And a blessing in each trial.
For every problem life sends,
A faithful friend to share,
For every sigh, a sweet song,
And an answer for each prayer.

Most of us take our good health for granted. It's not until you know someone that has gone through something like your friend, that we realize how lucky some of us are. A distant friend of mine (and an SSOA member) went through a heart bypass operation over the winter. I didn't find out about it until I met him at the OCC Nationals, last weekend, and he told me his story. He is on the mend, but it's something that has changed his life forever.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery to your friend, Dan.

Life is indeed very strong, and at the same time
very fragile. You all know Rock. A very strong
man indeed. He recently contracted Bells Palsey.

He'd kill me if he finds out I posted. He's much
better now but was very scared for a while. It
just shows how illness can strike anyone at a
moments notice. (it's why he did not make Skyline
this year!)

Dan, you have the power of this group pulling
for your friend. Please pass along our best wishes
for his speedy recovery.
