Have a great day. I sure wish I was at Brians! I did get a little tuning done on the Z06. I captured an autotap log and then changed some air/fuel ratios. I need a new dyno day and some tuning time!
Anyone know the best place to find optimum Lterm and Sterm fuel trim and 02 numbers. I don't know what they should be.

Hi all,
We managed to get the bar b que done without getting wet. I think the storms scared a few away, but no rain at all at my house! Nice to see Mr. & Mrs. JeffY again - love his insight into the whole automobile game.
Taner brought the 9 second 6 speed and took a few people for rides - boy did they come back grinning! Al and Michelle made it from New Hampshire after a double check at customs - I guess he looked pretty dangerous!
John and Karen made the 3 hour trip, nice to see them again as well. And of course a few locals with their rides. We have so much left over food, any one hungry?

What a great weather day today.Nice and hot and I finally installed a power antenna into the SS. Everything came out awesome,solder & heat shrink all the connections and installed a toggle switch so I can use the CD player without the antenna waving in the breeze.Have a great weekend and enjoy this New England weather Posted by CK-1 99SS (Member # 93) on :

For optimum tuning its best to use a wideband. But for tuning that will be close you want your o2's to be in the 880-900mv range at WOT. Also at WOT your strim and ltrim numbers should go to zero with no knock retard. At part throttle your ltrims should be in the low -ve numbers or closest to zero. I wouldn't really worry about the strim numbers because they change so rapidly and quickly as long as they go to zero at WOT. Also check out your spark as well.. It should be close to 28 degrees at WOT as well assuming you don't have any knock retard or audible pinging/detonation.
I too am going thru this process as well. I have got my numbers pretty close to what I just said but my o2's are around 850 but there is no pinging so I should be alright for now.. I am in the process of making an in car wideband kit so I know the exact A/F ratio for easier tuning as I don't have a wideband dyno within 600 miles of here..
