Let's get up and down this hump. Then it'll be downhill from here.
For those "into" the power antenna mod. I was reading my shop manual last night. According to the electrical section there should have been a plug in the harness, at the right rear quarter that the antenna plugs right into. Hmmm... my car is a 98, and maybe it was there inside the black shielding. Would have made it a simple plug in install.
Have a great day friends. Posted by Thom Mackesy (Member # 264) on :

G'morning!
The big news in this area, this morning, is the Rolling Stones concert in Toronto. They're expecting 450,000 to attend, with over 15 rock bands & performers. It starts at Noon today and runs past 10 tonight. How do you spell 'grid lock'?

Good morning!
Rain stayed away from AutoX last night
For those that remember I was trying track down an elusive banging noise that would only show at AutoX ....I finallly found it ..... the driveshaft was catching the driveshaft loop when the rearend was unloaded under heavy braking. Pulled the loop out ... noise is gone!!
Y'all have a great day, eh

Morning all!
Saw the eye surgeon this morning for my 6 week checkup...he told me the exact same thing he said 5 weeks ago, "You're doing fine". He's not much for words. Anyway, looks like things are progressing fine. I go back to see him in another month.

Hey all. Three days with no rain so far!
Art: I had a similar problem with my DSL, took hours to "shape it" appropriately.

Thanks for the info.
The problem isn't the drop ...it's the unloading under full braking with R-compounds. I found it while rotating the back wheels when the car was on jackstands with the axle at full "droop".
I only need the loop on the drag strip with stickies anyway ...which doesn't happen very often. I'll just bolt it in on those occassions.
