Went to a car show on Saturday and snapped a few pics... looki looki Of course it had to rain, but only for 5-6 minutes, just enough to ruin the Zaino shine Posted by 2002Z4CSS (Member # 1393) on :

Glad to see you all like them! American cars rule
...except for that yellow C5. What the hell was he thinking when he destroyed it like that Posted by Z28-SORR (Member # 1565) on :
Yellow??? The black one behind it with the orange stripes, isn't exactly my cup of tea either.

Is orange a better color description???

Great Pics, awesome cars! It continues to amaze me the amount and quality of Muscle there. I used to get on a board from Estonia occasionally.
A couple of questions. How many months is winter storage in Sweden? The lights in the euro spec fbody bumpers. I have always wondered if they were just tail lights or brake lights also. Does it really help the driver following to see the car that much more than without them?

I have my SS in storage for six months, give or take a couple of weeks depending on the weather. I tuck it in at the end of October and wake it up at the end of April. I'm not sure if that is the norm though, I like to drive my car so I try to keep it out of storage for as long as possible
The lights in the rear bumper on euro Camaro's are fog lights... you turn them on manually and they are about the same brightness as the brake lights. They help a great deal in the winter when driving in "snow smoke" (don't know if thats the right word ) it's pretty much impossible to see the car in front of you without them on.

The orange Vette surely has been modified. But you know what they say.....we all have our personalities and some like to enhance their vehicles to kind of show it off. Posted by XBCHBUM (Member # 734) on :
Thanks for the info on the rear fog lights. That was very interesting. Six months storage doesn't sound bad at all. I spent a year in Minnesota and that's how long cars were stored there. Thanks for the pics and the info. Posted by Z28-SORR (Member # 1565) on :
I forgot! Thanks for sharing.

Out of curiosity, what car had the pair of Weber DCOEs?
That brings back memories of a certain Datsun 240Z with three of them....both pleasure and nightmares (used 45 DCOEs instead of 40s resulting ins somer errr....aaaahhh tuning issues ).
BTW, thanks for sharing the pictures.

It's a Volvo Amazon... don't know what year it is. They where named Volvo P120 in the US. Apparently the name Amazon was a bit too much to handle for you guys over there Found some info here » Posted by B Mason (Member # 1979) on :
Thanks. I hate to say it, but I remember those cars. They were used quite successfully in rallying as I recall.
