.....notification when someone's replied to a thread you've posted??
i know i'm already missing that cute little "hoodscoop" email from.....*sigh*.....that other place....
THEREFORE: if we all whine enough, maybe j.r. will invoke his blessings amongst us (including more bandwidth!)

I was normaly on the board way too much to be bothered by the email. By the time I got the message I had already read the reply Posted by SSHEETS (Member # 1989) on :
It was handy for those tech posts where you really needed some info or for classifieds, but for the most part I turned them off. Too much email or they'd be going to my personal box when I was at work or visa versa.
They are a cool option though for the above reasons.
Also, how about a  graemlin?

Its a good idea cy but I do get alot of eamil myself and with the hours I work its hard to go through them especially the junk which I delete anyway.
But it is a good idea though. Posted by cytruffle (Member # 1733) on :
well....yes.....you're right.....it did make for a HUGE amount of stuff in the inbox (which makes me feel loved... )
guess it's just more withdrawal from there....
thanks for the input, tho!!
(btw -- i like the smilie site if you can't already tell)

If we are able to do an upgrade that includes emailing when you participate in a thread, it'll be up to the person posting to change their settings and toggle that option.
J.R. is working on finding the right upgrade for us.
