We're at the hump already - a little cold and possible rainy today - but I've heard warm and sunny for the weekend. I'll take that trade off!

Good Morning.
Clear and high 60's today after on and off rain yesterday. Heading to the mid 80's for the weekend.
Parts run last night ...Powerslot rotors, Hawk Pads and Braided SS lines for the SS prior to Bowling Green. Figure the drive to Kentucky should offer excellent break-in opportunity. What kind of paint y'all been using on the Calipers?
Y'all have a great day, eh! Posted by Joey Red (Member # 550) on :

Okay, I'm late to the party...good afternoon. Cloudy with a very good chance of rain today in Ottawa.
Art, I used a two-part coating on my calipers. I think it is made by Brems (or something like that). It is a very high temperature coating (something like 300 deg C) and resistant to brake fluid.
If you use it, do it in a very well ventilated area. I did it outside and still had a headache from having my head stuck in the wheel wells.

Define "luck".
I have/had the Bilstein package and used the BMR brackets. I also used LG adjustable LCA's. The BMR brackets with stock LCA's would have pushed the axle back.
The more I learn about the rear suspension the more I think LCA relocate brackets are band-aids rather than cures.

Thanks Bill. I'll see what I can find. Thanks for the heads up on the fumes. I'm assuming that since I'll be rebleeding the brake system because of the braided stainless steel hoses anyway, I'll be able to remove the calipers from the car.

Sizzle, you have the prayers from me and my family. My condolences.
Art, I used POR 15. I really don't think they get that hot! I haven't had any problem.
