I had an interview today with Jasper Engine.. they reman engines (gas, diesel, marine, electric)transmissions and differentials for both domestic and import.. been around since 1942

http://www.jasperengines.com

I would be a territory manager out here in the west where they are trying to gain market.. right now they are pretty huge out east and in midwest/south.. Just opened up out here.

All my life ive sold electronics of some sort, I think it would be a blast to represent something automotive since that is my main hobby.. maybe I can get a discount on a 500hp 454?? [Wink]

Unless i find out something hokey between now and next week I think I will take the position.

Anyone have experience with this company?

Like you I know they have been around for a long time and have built a good rep, have never seen anything bad about them.

Hope this works out for you Steve. I have always regretted not working in the Automotive area myself since I like cars so much....so in a way I am envious of your decision.

Good Luck.
