I was at a car show yeterday and came accross the new SUPERPERFORMANCE Coupe designed by Peter Brock. The coupe is a close replica to the Cobra Daytona Coupe which he originally designed for Shelby back in the 60's. Here is a picture of one of those cars
The new coupe is an awesome machine complete with air conditioning and power steering. I had a chance to take a few pictures.....(I hope this link works because I had trouble with it before) and sit in the car. The wheels on this car are not correct. The production wheels will be more like the original Cobra.
Link works fine! Pretty neat! Thanks for the info

Someone posted a link to a kit car the other day, and I checked out the site. I found this particular car on their site, and I have to say that if I ever did decide to build a kit-car (like that's ever going to happen), I think this one would be on the top of my list.
Then again, this one looks pretty sweet too. FFR GTM Mulsanne Posted by JFsport01 (Member # 1374) on :
Here is a bit of a long story related to an original Daytona Coupe. Back in the seventies near me, there was a company called The Glass Car Company. They sold classic Corvettes mainly, then Cobras started showing up. One day my friend and I went in to drool and saw an original Daytona Coupe. My friend who knew about them asked the owner how did you find one of those?" The owner mentioned something about trading a couple 427 cobras for it. One day the place was pad locked by the county Sheriff, then the stories came out. It turns out that many of the Vettes and some Cobras were there on consignment, and the owners started showing up looking for their cars. Turns out they guy was a major scammer and disappeared with cars and money. Years later he was arrested but died before going to trial. His last name was Megibow.
Below is the SN for the Daytona we saw including the owner list.
