Subject says it all, I'm installing the SLP PP lid and I can't pull the MAF off of the stock air box. Any tips?

You gotta pull that sucker out! Try the 'twist & wiggle' technique.....worked for me.
It'll eventually come out. Good Luck

It is really tight. As suggested try twisting and pulling at the same time. If you can get someone to help have them hold the airbox while you twist and pull the MAF.
If by yourself, try holding the air box between your legs and then twist/pull the MAF with both hands.
Be careful to keep your fingers out of the inside of the MAF. The wires in there are delicate.
Good luck.

I had the exact same problem. If you have a heat gun, try heating up the baffle first and then wiggling it. Or, what I wound up doing on mine was wedging the flat blade of a screw driver between the baffle and MAF and gently prying. Eventually it came apart.

Thanks everyone! My computer COMPLETELY crashed so I didn't have a chance to respond sooner. Got it off with the use of a hair dryer and now the SLP lid is in. Let the modding begin!
