I think I'm still in shock! The Hawk won Best of Show for the Carolina F-body club at the Food Lion AutoFair at the Lowe's Motor Speedway today! It was the Hawk's first time taking top honors anywere. The coolest part though, After all of the club awards are finished, the best of show from each club lines up on pit road...
...and then one by one, you pull up on the red carpet in front of the show stage and they announce the details of the car, the owner, location, etc., and you get a handshake and congrats from Humpy Wheeler, the track president (and "Lug Nut" the track mascot...LOL)
