Every year, the Camaro Club of KC puts on the “Midwest Camaro Fest” at a local Chevy dealer. This year, kind of like last year, it rained the entire day (Saturday). Despite the crappy weather, about 90 Camaros showed up to be in the show from five states.
The stars of the show were a green ’69 427 Yenko. It was, as you would expect, very sharp. There was also a Hugger Orange 2002 ZL1 that was trailered-in from out of town. It was no slouch either. There were actually a lot of nice cars, but it was hard to look at them because of the constant rain.
Anyway, the out-of-towners judged the local classes. I think I was in the biggest class with about a dozen cars. My car took first place, even over a couple of cars that were trailered in. I guess good wax and tiny water beads pay off. Anyway, since that was the Midwest Camaro Fest, doesn’t that mean I have the undisputed, best 1993-2003 Camaro in the Midwest? That’s how I’ve got it figured, anyway.
Here are the pictures that were posted on the KC Camaro Club website. Pictures
