So far everyone is present and accounted for - safe and sound - although the longhaulers are still on the road. Here's hoping for a 100% safe return. Posted by Hawkeye (Member # 88) on :

Pulled in the driveway at 9:45 last night. Good (and uneventful) drive home with John and Amanda.
Glad to see a good SSOA turn out, and to meet up with many that we only get to 'talk to' online.
Vote for the 'new' Gino thread.

G'morning!
Karen & I arrived home from BG about 8:30 last night after an uneventful drive home.
Question: How do you spell 'having a great time with a great group of people'?
Answer: S S O A
I'll try to post some BG pics later today, but have to clean up the SS, first.

Morning all! Old Coyote is on vacation this week, so I agreed to post his picture of the day for all the drag racing fans
Even the self proclaimed "father" of the sport has some really bad ideas ever now and then. This streamliner from "Big Daddy" Don Garlits is a prime example. Overweight, underpowered, ill-handling. These wonderful aspects all conspired to make this vehicle an absolute nightmare. He never could get it to perform anywhere close to the non-streamlined cars, so it lived out its short career as an exhibition vehicle.

Morning all. Got home last night a bit before 7. Had to take today off work to clean the bugs off the car and to relax a bit. Didn't get much sleep in BG.

Good afternoon, was just now able to get on here at work. Computers are funky sometimes, lol.
FINALLY go the SS washed and cleaned inside and out after a month without a bath. Didn't get to wax her as it was too cool out and rain was expected for today.
Have a good one ya'll!! Posted by OBSSD (Member # 1258) on :

Good day, eh!
We rolled in about 11:30 today. 1,325 mile trip home. Uneventful except for the small "donation" we'll be making to Clark County, IN.
