Goodyear GS D3 ("V" tread) is on special at Tire Rackfor $185 each for the standard SS size of 275/40-17 if anyone was looking for some. They show they're on back order, though, but you'd usually get them fairly soon within a week or two anyway, usually. With buying a set of four, Goodyear is offering a $50 savings bond if you purchase by Oct 25th. I don't know which series, however, probably a EE series, not an I bond. Even so, it's like getting the tires for at minimum less than $179 each. This isn't about which tire is better, etc., I'm just passing it along in case anyone was interested in the Goodyear brand.
