Well...? Seems a little steep for a license plate.... Posted by BadRag (Member # 1566) on :
I wouldn't think it is leagle on the street, maybe just a nice "show" plate.

I can understand the high "buy it now" price if you had LE Build #1993 or SLP Build #1993 in 2002. Heck.. if my SS matched up, I would already own the plate. Anybody have any idea who #1993 is ??

I have one dated 10/30/01 with "00" on it. I got it by renueing my membership withthe WCA.

I thought it was weird... they didn't have 1993 pace cars so was is special for one rig or is it a fake? Even if its real its way too much for a display plate only.... but then when it comes to camaro stuff I know people will pay unrational amounts for stuff... myself included. That plate is cheap at that price. At the 2002 Fbody Gathering in BG,these plates sold for even more at the auction. I have seen some go for more than $500. The 2 Indiana plates I have for my Brickyard are priceless to me.One is the 35th LE plate like my avatar and the other is a Brickyard 400 event plate and cannot be reproduced.I also have a 35th LE plate with the "00" in it in red.My other 2 plated have blue numbers on them and they were supposed to be red like the "00".
Here is my Brickyard 400 event plate with my car #...and yes on occasion I do drive around with it on!
