Well, I have had my car back for a couple of weeks now, but I am having a couple of problems...For one, the stock torque converter does NOT like the CC306 cam. It has decided to be too tight, causing my to have to buy a Yank 3600 converter, which is going in this week.

On top of that, now she is deciding to not fire injectors 5 or 7 correctly, they are intermittent at best. I have tried another set of injectors with no luck. So I have been trying to figure out where the problem is, and all that is left is the Optispark distributor(sound familiar, Chab?) I have replaced literally every other cmponent involved in the PCM deciding when to pulse the injectors. The Opti gets changed out later this week as well.

Other than that, I am happy with the car, it sounds great, and I have already recieved many compliments on the engine, and I haven't even gotten the body work done yet! While I was at a local car show supporting a couple of friends, I had one of the judges tell me he would have given me high marks if my body was straight with the way my engine sounded.

And a couple Fridays ago, i got to meet Mr. Settlemire, and I must say that we are darn lucky to have him still in a position of influence in GM. If we see a 5th gen, it will be because of this man. Scott, it was great to meet you, and yes, I will make damn sure I can go to Bowling Green next year, or wherever it is. And then maybe you can see another car that someone has spent more than the purchase price in upgrades. After hearing Shawn Salazar's car that night, I have decided that duals are definetly the way to go for exhaust setup. I think you'll agree, with the way his car sounded.

Well, that's all for now, I hope that this car gets working right soon!
