Well folks, after putting much thought into this situation, I have decided to finally put the SS up for sale. I have not driven it as much as I have liked, it has turned into a situation of worry about the car more than enjoying it. It is hard but it is for the best, I might as well let someone else enjoy it. If anyone is interested or if anyone knows someone who might be interested please let me know. I would appreciate it.

Here is the info on the car....2002 Camaro SS, Sunset Orange Metallic, A4, T-Tops, all GM options, loaded, Ebony leather. Mod list: SLP CAI, SLP high-flow lid, Holley Powershot, SLP MAF, SLP bellow, SLP 160 thermostat, SLP LOUDmouth exhaust, SLP STB, SLP SFC's, Corvette FRC's, 3.73 gears, TA rear girdle, Precision Vigilante 3600 high-stall converter, B&M Supercooler (trans cooler), Transgo Shift Kit, Nitto 555R (2-rear), black Stull Billet grille with 1969 "SS" emblem and 2002 Camaro SS dash "rating" plaque. Also included with car are all stock parts taken off, even down to stock filter and rear tires!!!! 6,500 MILES!!!!!!

Car has had regular oil changes with Mobil 1, all receipts (from aftermarket parts and labor) and service logs included. Original window sticker and all stickers down to the emissions sticker also included.

Never raced, always garage kept and stored in winter, never driven in rain!!!!! ALWAYS BABIED!!!!

Email me with questions.

$26,000 FIRM

Sorry to hear about the conclusion. [Frown] You have obviously put a lot of care into the car.

Sorry to hear you have put the SS up for sale Dave. I too don't drive mine like I would want and it sits in the garage alongside my IROC that I have had for 17 years and only 9900 miles on it.

Hope she gets a good home and is well taken care of as you have done.

I can sympathize..It's been a rainy year and sadly I assume lots of our cars ended up with more spider webs on them than smushed bugs from nice long drives. I've done more dusting of mine in the garage than anything else.

That is too bad. Hope you get what you want for the SS.

Thanks guys. I know it is a hard decision but it is for the best. I am looking at a new Tahoe Z71 or a Toyota Sequoia.

Sorry to hear. I'm looking to sell mine, but I'm not in a hurry. Oh course, a car is a car, no more. I drive mine in the rain, and snow, and sits outsite 24/7. But if you look at it, it looks like brand new! It's just how ya take care of it. Good luck!

I certainly wish you guys a lot of luck selling the cars. I personally think you should reconsider: with new car prices and financing so low, the used car market stinks if you are looking to sell. My friend sold his 2000 SS on Saturday (pretty much stock, loaded, t-tops, A4, silver 25k miles, mint cond inside & out) for $15,000 after being on the market since May! [Eek!] (Southeast Pennsylvania/Philly burbs) I can't believe how low he had to go to sell it.

With the mods, yours are definitely worth more, but unless the market is different where you are, you may end up keeping it... not a terrible thing. [Big Grin]

If worse comes to worse, I'll have to trade it along with my 1999 4Runner to pick up the Sequoia. I know when someone test drives it, they'll fall in love with it. Its faSSt!!!!

The value of our 02 Camaros are dropping! But if you can wait and enjoy it the prices will eventually even out and hopefully increase! People are taking huge hits on these cars now! The economy is slow as we all know good luck!

Dave - Keep the car, get counseling. Who cares if you drive it into the ground. There is no one who deserves to enjoy that car more than you! Besides, there are plenty of hardcore collectors to preserve the breed for posterity.

Seriously, I've had many things I could not get over either, so good luck in your sale.

Ryan
