Does the Z06 engine have the same connections (hose/wiring) as the LS1 egnine? Can it be exactly swapped?

Yes but it's not called a Z06 engine, it's an LS6 engine. Z06 is just the name of the Vette. [Wink]

I'm pretty sure you can use LS1 Edit to reprogram an LS1 PCM to run an LS6. LS6 engines are physically different in the heads, cam, intake but run using the same parameters. The technology is essentially the same.

If we are talking Y-body to F-body change, there is also the issue of the LS6 drive by wire throttle body (i.e.: no throttle cable).
