you're the one that does the dash plaques right? there is some thing that i want to do to my car that i want to run by you to see if it would be possible.

i have the factory hurst shifter with the "H" knob. i want to fill-in the H with silver. i was thinking about paint, but it would probably rub off over time. i don't know of any other substance that i could apply to the area and not rub off over time. so my thought is: is it possible to make a thin piece of brushed aluminum or brushed chrome that could have an adhesive on the backside? i would want it thin enough to just fill in the H and have it be flush with the rest of the knob. and i know the knob has a little bit of a round curve to it, so the metal piece would have to be curved a bit or thin enough to bend if necessary. or, could this piece be made out of silver plastic or a similar compound?

sorry it is so long, but been thinking about this for a while, and wanted to know what you thought about it. maybe others have thought the same thing, and this could become a regular product for you.
thanks,

Nate

I'll have to take a look at the shifter I have in my garage. I may be able to come up with something. I just hope I still have the knob.

I found the shifter but I must have sold the knob a long time ago. Let me take a look at the one in Andy's Berger next time I go over there and I'll let you know if I can make what you're looking for. I'll just use his for the template so no need to send yours to me.
